Tailored Carbon Tips
In the new, tailor-made carbon tips – the Tailored Carbon Tips – the individual carbon fibers are stitched onto a carrier material in this innovative manufacturing process. This allows them to be positioned precisely along the lines of force, opening up entirely new possibilities, especially in the tip area. This has a decisive influence on the ski's handling. The fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment allow the stiffness, torsion, and thus the handling characteristics to be precisely adjusted. In this way, the fibers direct the dynamics to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are lightweight, enable agile tip entry with less effort, and build up energy quickly. Thus, the tailor-made carbon tips reach a new level of precision, direct tip response, and active skiing pleasure.
Full Titanal
Titanal in the ski construction makes the ski lively and dynamic. Fans of hard, fast, and aggressive skiing particularly benefit from the responsiveness of this construction.
Full Sidewall Abs
The specific synthetic substance of the sidewall enables precise and direct power transmission.
Multilayer Woodcore
The sidewall, in the form of extremely stable wood layers directly supported on the flanks of the sandwich core, continues into the interior of the ski. In combination with a more flexible, lighter wood in the center of the sandwich core, this construction offers numerous advantages: The hardwood portion within the sidewall ensures increased power transmission, contributes to better edge grip, and supports the edge when subjected to external force. The softwood portion in the center of the ski, thanks to its lower weight, ensures greater agility and maneuverability. The combination of both wood types across the entire length of the ski contributes to an optimal stiffness distribution of the skis and enables more precise ski control. The construction offers highly athletic skiers a combination of maneuverability and stability, enabling them to gain even those decisive hundredths of a second between victory and defeat.
3 D. Glass
Völkl's 3D.Glass development further improves the ski's handling characteristics and stability, especially in difficult snow conditions. Compared to a traditional glass construction, the three-dimensional, multi-folded fabric layers in front of and behind the binding area provide increased edge grip and a more lively ski rebound during turns. 1 3D.GLASS IS INTEGRATED INTO THE TIP AND TAIL OF THE SKI // The flat fiberglass structure under the binding softens the center // This enables variable radii at any speed. 2 FIBERGLASS OVER THE SIDEWALL // Provides improved edge grip on icy slopes. 3 VERTICAL FIBERGLASS STRUCTURE IN THE FRONT AND REAR OF THE SKI // Greater agility when quickly transitioning from edge to edge.
Tip Rocker
Character: Is only bent upwards in the shovel area, while the middle and tail of the ski are aligned with pre-tension
