RACETIGER SC BLACK + VMOT 12 binding Völkl

Description

You prefer hard turns, always at your own pace, preferably on the edges. When you look back, your line shows tight to medium radii. You simply have the most fun on groomed slopes, because that's where you can let off steam. Wild and fast. Then this is your skiing experience! The Racetiger SC, with Titanal stripes and a tailor-made, slightly wider carbon shovel, impresses with its extreme maneuverability, yet is still exceptionally smooth and balanced. Of course, the Racetiger SC requires a certain amount of experience, but it's a slalom ski with a wide range of uses and surprisingly easy to ski for sporty skiers. It offers plenty of control at the limit, but you can also brake just as easily if you want to take it a little easier. Enjoyable skiing at the highest level! The Tailored Carbon Tips on the Racetiger models reduce effort, especially when initiating turns. The additional integrated carbon strips direct the power exactly where it's needed. This ensures consistent agility and drifting characteristics. In addition, the titanium band provides the necessary suppleness. In short, the Racetiger has become sportier. The shape is more balanced, but the narrower waist width allows for faster edge transitions and an overall more dynamic riding style.

Features

Tailored Carbon Tips

In the new, tailor-made carbon tips – the Tailored Carbon Tips – the individual carbon fibers are stitched onto a carrier material in this innovative manufacturing process. This allows them to be positioned precisely along the lines of force, opening up entirely new possibilities, especially in the tip area. This has a decisive influence on the ski's handling. The fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment allow the stiffness, torsion, and thus the handling characteristics to be precisely adjusted. In this way, the fibers direct the dynamics to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are lightweight, enable agile tip entry with less effort, and build up energy quickly. Thus, the tailor-made carbon tips reach a new level of precision, direct tip response, and active skiing pleasure.

Titanal Band

The use of Titanal dampens impacts, but at the same time increases the sporty agility of the ski and allows for a relatively lightweight construction.

Full Sidewall / Mini Cap

Full sidewall construction with overlapping mini cap for best durability.

Multilayer Woodcore

The sidewall, in the form of extremely stable wood layers directly supported on the flanks of the sandwich core, continues into the interior of the ski. In combination with a more flexible, lighter wood in the center of the sandwich core, this construction offers numerous advantages: The hardwood portion within the sidewall ensures increased power transmission, contributes to better edge grip, and supports the edge when subjected to external force. The softwood portion in the center of the ski, thanks to its lower weight, ensures greater agility and maneuverability. The combination of both wood types across the entire length of the ski contributes to an optimal stiffness distribution of the skis and enables more precise ski control. The construction offers highly athletic skiers a combination of maneuverability and stability, enabling them to gain even those decisive hundredths of a second between victory and defeat.

3 D. Glass

Völkl's 3D.Glass development further improves the ski's handling characteristics and stability, especially in difficult snow conditions. Compared to a traditional glass construction, the three-dimensional, multi-folded fabric layers in front of and behind the binding area provide increased edge grip and a more lively ski rebound during turns. 1 3D.GLASS IS INTEGRATED INTO THE TIP AND TAIL OF THE SKI // The flat fiberglass structure under the binding softens the center // This enables variable radii at any speed. 2 FIBERGLASS OVER THE SIDEWALL // Provides improved edge grip on icy slopes. 3 VERTICAL FIBERGLASS STRUCTURE IN THE FRONT AND REAR OF THE SKI // Greater agility when quickly transitioning from edge to edge.

Tip Rocker

Character: Is only curved upwards in the shovel area, while the middle and tail of the ski are aligned with pre-tension.
