Washing & Care
  • Wash with extra careDown products are delicate and require special care to maintain their maximum effectiveness. Wash them ONLY in a front-loading machine in warm water with a special liquid detergent for down (without bleach) on a gentle cycle at low speed. You may need to repeat the rinse cycle to ensure all soap residue is removed. An additional spin cycle helps remove excess water. Do not lift the product from the washing machine; scoop it out from the bottom of the washing machine.
  • Check everything before washingBefore washing, carefully check the label inside the garment.
  • Close all zippersBefore cleaning, turn your product inside out and close all Velcro® fasteners and zippers to prevent accidental damage.
  • Have It Professionally CleanedIf your down product doesn't fit in your washing machine or dryer, we recommend having it professionally cleaned by a company specializing in down cleaning. This will save you time and energy.
  • Dry your product in the tumble dryer on a low settingTumble dry clothes on a low setting for extended periods. It's also important to wash and dry each garment separately. We recommend using tennis balls or special dryer balls to prevent the down from clumping.
  • Do not hang to dryIf you don't have a dryer, you can dry your down product over a radiator in a pinch. Move it occasionally to help the down retain its loft.
